Built at Normandy Yacht Service by a team of former Garcia shipyard employees, the DG 52 is designed for an unlimited circumnavigation, ice included. A solid aluminum construction and interior ergonomics designed for safe navigation are what define the DG52, a beautiful 15.80m LOA sloop. Performance is assured with a hull benefiting from an optimized weight ratio and equipped with Naca-profile appendages.
The Vicent Lebailly Yacht Design agency designed this custom aluminum centerboarder for a couple of owners wishing to sail anywhere, in complete protection.
The interior design by Pierre Frutschi is exemplary.
The concept of a wheelhouse / watchroom is almost a priority in the specifications. Because on the DG52, the wheelhouse is not just an extension of the cockpit, but a separate space inside!
This differentiates the DG52 from many other cruising sailboats that offer only a damp, rarely heated watch station. Here, the watchroom is open to the saloon and seamlessly connected to the rest of the interior. Three seats are integrated, allowing for dining, watchkeeping, or simply relaxing. All with controls within reach and exceptional external visibility.
