The Pilot 420 is a port service boat from the 3D Tender brand, designed by architect Samy Boubezari.
The Pilot 420 specializes in assisting port maneuvers of boats of all sizes. Its compact line and shallow draft allow it to maneuver in the most difficult access areas.
It features a rounded bow, called a “marotte,” enabling it to perform its function as a push boat. Its flat bottom, good width/length ratio, and hull design provide excellent stability and maneuverability at sea.
The boat is extremely robust with a 5mm thick H5083 Aluminium hull and a dense 3mm internal structure. Its 20 cm PU reinforcement all around the hull offers maximum protection in case of contact without marking other boats.
The structural plans have been approved by the classification society Bureau Veritas.
The Pilot 420 is equipped with two towing posts, one at the bow and the other at the stern, directly linked to the boat structure. It also features a pilot console, a comfortable bolster seat with double storage, four mooring cleats (two at the bow and two at the stern), non-slip EVA coating, two large front lockers, a 60L tank, a large work platform at the bow, and an anchor locker.
For safety, handrails are present all around the Pilot 420. This boat is self-draining.
On request, the Pilot 420 hull can be offered in other colors, and the PU protection in white.
