The Pilot420 is a port service boat from the brand 3D Tender, designed by the naval architect Samy Boubezari.
The Pilot420 specializes in assisting the maneuvering of boats of all sizes within ports. Its compact line and shallow draft allow it to operate in the most difficult access areas.
It features a rounded bow, called a "marotte", enabling it to function as a push boat. Its flat bottom, good beam-to-length ratio, and hull design give it excellent stability and maneuverability at sea.
The boat is extremely robust with its 5mm thick H5083 aluminium hull and a dense 3mm internal structure. Its 20cm wide PU reinforcement all around the hull provides maximum protection upon contact without marking other boats.
Structural plans have been validated by the classification society Bureau Veritas.
The Pilot 420 is equipped with two towing posts, one at the bow and the other at the stern, directly tied to the boat's structure. It also features a pilot console, a comfortable bolster seat with double storage, four mooring cleats (two forward and two aft), non-slip EVA decking, two large front lockers, a 60L tank, a large work platform at the bow, and an anchor locker.
To secure the boat, handrails are present all around the Pilot 420. This boat is self-draining.
On request, the Pilot 420 hull can be offered in other colors, and the PU protection in white.
