Allures 44
Description
Designed by architects Berret-Racoupeau and built at the Allures Yachting Shipyard in Cherbourg, France, this 44-foot fully integrated aluminium daggerboard has made a name for itself. It is the first model from the French manufacturer Allures Yachting.
Technical Specifications
The Allures 44 is a full daggerboard with a hull in aluminium, and a composite deck and superstructure. This cruising boat is fast and powerful in rough seas, ideal for navigating in various parts of the world where its shallow draft allows access to anchorages inaccessible to most fin-keel sailboats. Its deck layout, designed by Michel Desjoyeaux, is very simple to handle.
Design and Usage
Its design was conceived from the outset to combine all the features of a true cruising sailboat: aluminium, full daggerboard, and dedicated technical zone. The Allures 44 is built for extended voyages with a crew reduced to the essentials, with all manoeuvres controlled from the cockpit.
Interior Layout
This Allures 44 is a version with 2 cabins. The cabins include ample storage spaces, an aft bathroom, and a large owner’s forward cabin. The living space offers a headroom of over 2 meters, providing a spacious, comfortable, and luminous environment designed for pleasant onboard living in a convivial atmosphere.
Onboard Equipment
The galley is equipped with a large fridge, freezer, and extensive work surface, ideal for cooking onboard. Its lengthwise layout on port side is perfectly suited for navigation, as it is snugly positioned against the port settee in the saloon. The daggerboard well is seamlessly integrated into the interior layout, allowing smooth circulation in the saloon and easy access.
Navigation Options
The owners have selected numerous options for offshore navigation with autonomy and safety:
Desalination unit
510 W solar panels
6 batteries of 100 Ah from 2024
Inverter and charger Victron from 2024
