Stefan Qviberg, the designer, has crafted a masterpiece that appeals to owners seeking both comfort for long passages and sailing performance for racing. Stefan explained: "The 435 has an efficient sail design, low weight, and the characteristic stability of every Arcona yacht. The 435 is modern inside and out.
The Arcona 435 embodies the features of a very comfortable fast family cruiser and a racing yacht, without compromise. It is safe and stable with laminated watertight bulkheads and Arcona’s galvanized steel beam. It is a pleasure to sail as it responds quickly to adjustments and weighs no more than 8990 kg. The Arcona 435 can also be specified with a carbon hull, deck, and stringers, further reducing its weight. The Arcona 435 has a slightly larger sail area than previous models to optimize upwind performance.
