VISIBLE IN LA ROCHELLE - CONTACT JEAN-PIERRE OR AUDREY AT 06 09 42 34 55 - The Manzanita sailboat is a cruising monohull, built by the Ocean Yachts shipyard in Spain. This fixed keel sailboat, rigged as a fractional Sloop, designed by naval architect Ron Holland, has a maximum draft of 1.60 m.
Dating from 1976, this Quarter Tonner series polyester build comes from the hull of a Quarter prototype that raced in 1975. About 50 units were produced at that time and the series is quite popular in Spain. This model was named Manzanita (the little apple), because the first model had an apple drawn on its transom. The latter’s characteristic rounded shape gave the impression of a 3D apple. Production started in 1978 and ended in 1982.
This sailboat has just undergone a major refurbishment, the work lasted 3 years…
