Dating from 1976, this series-produced polyester Quarter Tonner is derived from the hull of a prototype Quarter that raced in 1975. Approximately 50 units were produced at that time, and the series is quite popular in Spain. This model was named Manzanita (little apple) because the first model had an apple painted on its transom. The distinctive rounded shape of the transom gave an impression of a 3D apple. Production started in 1978 and ended in 1982.
