This Baltic 60, designed by Rolph Vrolijk, was conceived to excel in Mediterranean racing conditions while providing its owner with ideal comfort for long cruises. The ambition behind this 60-foot sailboat was to create a true dual-purpose vessel, perfectly optimized for both competition and relaxation at sea.

Designed by the Judel/Vrolijk studio, SUD was specifically developed to perform under the IMS rule, which was very common in the Mediterranean, while remaining competitive under the IRC rule, which has a wider audience. The design features a relatively narrow hull with straight ends, maximizing the waterline length without resorting to the less aesthetically pleasing flat-sided shape common at the time under the IMS rule.

The boat is now ready to be docked and taken over by its new owner!
