I am selling my Bavaria 42, first hand, in 3 cabin version, Grand Sail on chariots, Genoa on furler...
This Bavaria 42 has only been owned by one family who has just decided (reluctantly) to sell it due to age reasons.
If you come to see it, you will find a number of things to do.
I leave it to the buyer to plan these things after purchase, such as replacing the sail set, replacing the Sail drive seal, a few cosmetic touch-ups here and there, but overall the boat deserves your full attention, especially since the asking price is very attractive today.
The interior upholstery and floors have always been protected and are therefore in good condition.
The BAVARIA 42 is built according to the design category A, "Offshore" (module Aa).
This design category requires that the yacht is suitable for long-distance cruising with winds over 8 (Beaufort scale) and waves over 4 meters, allowing it to sail mainly on its own.
It also means that the builder certifies its compliance with the standards and equipment according to the directives, but the stability, freeboard, buoyancy, and flotation have been checked by an authorized inspection body.
