This Bavaria 42 has only known one family who has now decided (reluctantly) to sell it due to age reasons.
If you come to see it, you'll find a number of things to do.
I leave it to the buyer's discretion to plan these after the purchase, such as replacing a set of sails, replacing the sail drive seal, some small cosmetic work here and there, but overall, the boat deserves your full attention especially considering the very attractive price today.
The interior upholstery and flooring have always been protected and are therefore in good condition.

The BAVARIA 42 is built in accordance with category A, "Offshore" (Aa module).
This design category requires the sailing yacht to be suitable for long-distance cruising with winds over 8 (Beaufort scale) and waves over 4 meters, allowing it to sail largely on its own.
It also means that the manufacturer certifies the compliance of the construction and equipment with the directives, but the stability, freeboard, buoyancy, and watertightness are checked by an approved control body.
