"Bavaria 42 first hand, 3 cabins, mainsail on cars, genoa on roller. This Bavaria 42 has only known one family who has just decided (reluctantly) to sell it for reasons of age. If you come to see it, you will find a number of things to do that the seller leaves to the buyer's discretion to schedule after the purchase, such as: replacement of a set of sails, replacement of the sail drive seal, some minor cosmetic work here and there, but overall the boat deserves all your attention especially since the listed price is very attractive today. The interior upholstery and flooring have always been protected and are therefore in good condition."

The BAVARIA 42 is built in accordance with design category A, "Offshore" (module Aa). This design category requires that the sailboat be suitable for long cruises with winds over 8 (Beaufort scale) and waves over 4 meters, thus enabling it to sail largely under its own power. It also means that the manufacturer certifies the compliance of the construction and equipment with the directives, but the stability and freeboard, as well as buoyancy and floatation, have been checked by an authorized inspection body.
