"Bavaria 42 first hand, 3 cabins, mainsail on cars, genoa on roller furling.
This Bavaria 42 has only had one family who has just decided (reluctantly) to sell it due to age.
If you come to see it, you will find a number of tasks that the seller leaves to the buyer's discretion to schedule after purchase, such as: replacement of a sail set, replacement of the Sail drive seal, some minor cosmetic work here and there, but overall the boat deserves your full attention especially since the listed price is very attractive today.
The interior upholstery and floors have always been protected and are therefore in good condition."

The BAVARIA 42 is built according to design category A, "Offshore" (module Aa).
This design category requires that the sailboat is suitable for long cruises with winds above 8 (Beaufort scale) and waves over 4 meters, allowing it to navigate largely by its own means.
This also means that the builder certifies compliance of construction and equipment with the guidelines himself, but stability and freeboard, as well as buoyancy and flotation, have been verified by an accredited control body.
