Historical overview

The First 30 Version 1977 sailing yacht is a seaworthy monohull cruiser built by the Bénéteau shipyard in France. This fixed-keel, sloop-headed rigged vessel was designed by naval architect André Mauric. It measures 8.8 meters in length. Production began in 1977 and ended in 1984. A total of 969 units were produced.

Overall condition:
This unit is in very good condition, with minor faults noted despite the overall good state, see below.

Interior:
The upholstery needs to be redone in the aft part of the boat (coffin berth), but the rest shows only minor faults due to age.

Woodwork and upholstery also have minor flaws in some areas.

Exterior:
This sailboat has been very well maintained. The rigging was inspected, the shroud and reefing system replaced in 2022, and it is equipped with a small downwind canopy to be serviced. It remains in good condition overall, showing some signs of aging, which is inevitable for a boat from 1979, with minor gelcoat marks on the deck, but it is in perfect condition for display and navigation.
