Beneteau First 53

The interior of the First 53 innovates with a large sofa and a coffee table. To meet the demands of a new way of sailing, no longer a large saloon table, but two distinct and more practical spaces: the relaxation area and the dining area.

The ease of movement was a key focus for designer Lorenzo Argento, between the helm stations, the arrangement of the winches for maneuvers, and access to the deck. Behind the removable aft panel that becomes a bathing platform, a garage allows effortless storage of a 2.40 m dinghy.

For maximum helm experience, the balance under sails and weight distribution were central to the boat's design. The buoyancy center is, for example, aligned with the sail area center. Straight bow with volume, very aft mast position, 2.50 m or 3 m draft (with lead ballast), twin rudders for perfect control of this lively hull, the First 53 has all the qualities of a hull that can cover miles quickly.
