My Bénéteau Oceanis 43 for sale
This Bénéteau Oceanis 43 used boat was much more than just a sailboat for us — it was our floating home for nearly 2 years. From the turquoise waters of Aruba to the coasts of Mexico, passing through Cuba and the Bermuda, and finally back to Europe, this Bénéteau Oceanis 43 safely and comfortably carried us across thousands of nautical miles.
A model renowned for its comfort
It’s a Beneteau Oceanis 43, a model known for its liveaboard comfort, excellent sailing performance, and generous volumes, both on deck and below. We equipped our Oceanis 43 to be fully autonomous for long-distance navigation and .
Equipment and autonomy
With 1000W of solar panels and 600Ah of lithium batteries, we were able to anchor for weeks without ever plugging into shore — powering fridges, electronics, lighting, and more, easily. Whether working remotely or simply enjoying life at anchor, energy independence is assured.
Engine and maintenance
The engine is in excellent condition — only 1800 hours, with rigorous maintenance performed according to the manufacturer’s schedule. This year, we inspected the standing rigging and replaced key components to ensure safety and reliability on offshore crossings. The sails and running rigging are very recent and capable of undertaking new transoceanic voyages.
History of the boat and model
The Beneteau Oceanis 43 was designed by Berret-Racoupeau and its interior by Nauta Design. It was first built in 2006 by Beneteau in France. This model marked a new era in offshore cruising yachts thanks to its design, comfort, and performance. It was produced until 2014 and was highly successful, especially for its use as a charter yacht under the name Moorings 43.4. The Oceanis 43 is ideal for family or friends cruising, offering generous space and exceptional comfort.
