My Bénéteau Océanis 43 for sale
This Bénéteau Océanis 43 for sale second-hand has been much more than just a sailing boat for us — it has been our floating home for almost 2 years. From the turquoise waters of Aruba to the shores of Mexico, through Cuba and the Bermuda, and finally back to Europe, this Bénéteau Océanis 43 has safely and comfortably transported us through thousands of nautical miles.
A model known for its comfort
This is a Beneteau Oceanis 43, a model recognized for its comfort onboard, excellent sailing performance, and generous space, both on deck and below. We equipped our Océanis 43 to be fully self-sufficient for long-distance sailing and off-grid cruising.
Equipment and autonomy
With 1000W of solar panels and 600Ah of lithium batteries, we have been able to stay at anchor for weeks without ever plugging into shore power — powering refrigerators, electronics, lighting, and much more, without difficulty. Whether you work remotely or simply enjoy life at anchor, energy independence is guaranteed.
Engine and maintenance
The engine is in excellent condition — only 1800 hours, with rigorous maintenance performed according to the manufacturer's schedule. This year, we inspected the standing rigging and replaced essential components to ensure safety and reliability on offshore crossings. The sails and the running rigging, however, are nearing the end of their lifespan and will need to be replaced before undertaking new significant sailing — a point already considered in the asking price.
History of the yard and the model
The Beneteau Oceanis 43 was designed by Berret-Racoupeau with its interior by Nauta Design. It was first built in 2006 by Beneteau in France. This model marked a new era in the history of offshore cruising boats thanks to its design, comfort, and performance. It was produced until 2014 and enjoyed great success, particularly for its use in charter under the name Moorings 43.4. The Oceanis 43 is ideal for family or friends cruising, offering generous space and exceptional comfort.
