My Bénéteau Oceanis 43 for sale
This Bénéteau Oceanis 43 used for sale has been much more than just a sailboat for us — it was our floating home for nearly 2 years. From the turquoise waters of Aruba to the coasts of Mexico, passing through Cuba and the Bermuda, and finally back in Europe, this Bénéteau Oceanis 43 carried us safely and comfortably across thousands of nautical miles.
A model recognized for its comfort
It’s a Beneteau Oceanis 43, a model known for its liveaboard comfort, its excellent sailing performance, and its generous volumes, both on deck and below. We equipped our Oceanis 43 to be fully autonomous for long-range navigation and .
Equipments and autonomy
With 1000W of solar panels and 600Ah of lithium batteries, we were able to stay anchored for weeks without ever needing shore power — powering fridges, electronics, lighting, and more, effortlessly. Whether working remotely or simply enjoying life at anchor, energy independence is guaranteed.
Engine and maintenance
The engine is in excellent condition — only 1800 hours, with rigorous maintenance performed according to the manufacturer’s schedule. This year, we inspected the standing rigging and replaced essential components to ensure safety and reliability on offshore crossings. The sails and running rigging, however, are nearing end of life and will need replacement before undertaking further major sailing adventures — already considered in the asking price.
Chandlery and model history
The Beneteau Oceanis 43 was designed by Berret-Racoupeau with its interior by Nauta Design. It was first built in 2006 by Beneteau in France. This model marked a new era in the history of offshore cruising yachts with its design, comfort, and performance. It was produced until 2014 and enjoyed great success, notably for its charter use under the name Moorings 43.4. The Oceanis 43 is ideal for family or friends cruising, offering spaciousness and exceptional comfort.
