The sailing yacht TELSTAR VI is a classic auxiliary ketch, embodying the character and style of the 1960s, offering luxurious comfort, amenities, and the benefits of a modern yacht. Its robustness and long-range capability promise endless pleasure for local and global cruising.
TELSTAR VI is a 29-meter ketch designed in 1967 by the renowned naval architect Alan Buchanan and built in Italy by the Cantiere Craglietto shipyard, yard number 62. Its keel was laid in 1967 and it was completed in 1968.
“TELSTAR VI is the chronology of the ownership, custody, or location of an historical object. The term was originally primarily used in relation to works of art, applied in similar contexts across a wide range of fields, including archaeology and manuscripts.”
TELSTAR VI is built with a teak and oak hull. It underwent a substantial refit in Malta from 2012 to 2019, during which it was completely stripped, partially replanked, with beams and floors replaced by laminated beams, refastened and epoxy coated. The extensive refit enables MCA coding.
