Designed by Michel Bigoin and built by CNSO, the Mikado is one of the first large production boats. Over 100 Mikados were built in the 1970s - the Mikado is a reliable choice. Seaworthy, sturdy, and reassuring, it is an excellent offshore sailboat. The construction is solid, and the two watertight bulkheads contribute to safety on board. The divided sail plan allows easier maneuvers and enables balancing the boat at all points of sail. This boat was prepared by its owners for a major departure, which did not take place.
