Originating from a carefully handcrafted amateur build completed in Marseille in 1985, Khaya is a cruising-racing sailboat with a molded epoxy wooden hull that demonstrates solid construction and provides good seaworthiness. Equipped with a slender, deep keel combined with a separate rudder, it offers precise and enjoyable steering. Its low, sleek lines give it an elegant silhouette, embodying the charm of its era.

Inside, the space remains simple yet welcoming, with visible woodwork reflecting the authenticity of traditional sailboats. The cockpit, intimate, allows the helmsman to stay closely connected to the sensations and the marine environment.

Its name, Khaya, meaning "mahogany," reflects the spirit of the boat: a vessel with a strong character, rich in history, intended for enthusiasts seeking to own an authentic boat and continue its development through new sailing projects.
