Derived from a handcrafted amateur construction carefully carried out in Marseille in 1985, Khaya is a cruising-racing sailboat with a hull made of molded epoxy wood that demonstrates a solid build and provides good seaworthiness. Featuring a narrow, deep keel combined with a separate rudder, it offers precise and enjoyable handling at the helm. Its low, sleek lines give it an elegant silhouette, imbued with the charm of its era.
Inside, the space remains simple but cozy, with exposed woodwork reminiscent of traditional sailboats' authenticity. The cockpit, intimate, allows the skipper to be as close as possible to the sensations and marine environment.
Its name, Khaya, meaning "mahogany," reflects the spirit of the boat: a characterful sailboat rich in history, intended for enthusiasts seeking to own an authentic vessel and to evolve it through new sailing projects.
