Magnificent Sergent Plan from 1955, designated as a Heritage Interest Vessel (BIP)

This sailing yacht, rich in history, was designed and conceived in 1955 by François Sergent, a renowned French naval architect who greatly contributed to the development of yachting in France. To preserve this heritage, the original plans of the boat have been carefully maintained and will be handed over to you in person.

La Railleuse is an exceptional sailboat, equipped with a cutter rig, offering great adaptability to weather conditions. It was designed using traditional techniques of the era, favoring noble materials such as solid wood for the main structure and Oregon pine for the mast, chosen for its lightness and strength.

In 2013, the sailboat spent four months at the Charpentiers Réunis shipyard in La Ciotat, where the framing and hull were entirely restored to give it a new youth.
