Delta Powerboats 54 IPS

The Delta 54 IPS is the world's first production motor yacht entirely designed in carbon fibre composite, setting a new benchmark in revolutionary energy efficiency, performance, and the strength-to-weight ratio among top-tier sport cruisers. Co-founded by naval architect Lars Modin, Delta Powerboats has distilled two decades of Scandinavian design philosophy and cutting-edge marine engineering into the 54, creating a versatile vessel capable of excelling in all types of activities across the Mediterranean and the open sea, while delivering the refinement and comfort expected from a luxury yacht, with accommodation for six passengers.





The distinctive hull design is based on a deep-V geometry with pneumatic lift, featuring a carbon fibre structure laminated by vacuum infusion, vinylester resin, and a Divinycell foam core throughout the hull, stringers, bulkheads, deck, and cabin roof. This construction method delivers unprecedented strength combined with exceptional lightness: the 54 weighs only 12,800 kg dry, giving it performance characteristics that are unattainable with conventional fibreglass or steel construction. The result is a vessel with an overall length of 18.10 metres, a generous beam of 4.60 metres, and a modest draft of 1.40 metres, certified to comply with CE offshore standards for Category B, while offering fuel consumption of just six litres per nautical mile at a cruising speed of 30 knots. Its top speed reaches 38 knots, placing the Delta 54 among the fastest and most efficient luxury motor yachts in the world, with an impressive range of 450 nautical miles enabling long passages across the Mediterranean, from Monaco to Corsica, Sardinia, and beyond.
