The owner tells us:

I am selling my DUFOUR 40 PERFORMANCE purchased in 2021, which I have sailed in the Mediterranean before preparing it for an Atlantic crossing in 2024 (Arc Antillais). Currently back on the mainland, it is stored ashore and ready to go after minor cosmetic and electrical work to be done (mast fire cable and anchor lights).
It is a 2-cabin version with a deep keel, featuring an enlarged forward cabin bed, a large shower separate from the toilet, and a WEEBASTO forced air heating system.
Its standing rigging was replaced in 2018, and its DCX sails date from 2021.
It is energy autonomous (4 x 400W solar panels with VICTRON ENERGY MPPT regulator) and equipped with 3 x 110 Ah service batteries from 2024 and a 90 Ah engine battery.
My DUFOUR 40 PERFORMANCE is prepared for long-distance cruising with a complete onboard electronics package (RAYMARINE navigation center, marinized PC with remote screen on a pivoting arm, OPEN CPN, EPIRB beacon 2024, AIS Black Box transmitter/receiver 800S/N, FURUNO NX300 Navtex, TRANSOCEAN 6-person life raft 2023, 100m primary anchor rode...)

The Dufour 40, launched in the early 2000s, embodies the blend of performance and comfort, as claimed by the La Rochelle yard. The first of the new Dufour range, it quickly appealed to sailors and racers alike, winning the title of "Boat of the Year 2003." Designed by the Franco-Italian duo Umberto Felci (keel) and Patrick Roséo (deck and interior), this monohull of nearly 12 meters appeals to both cruising enthusiasts and racing lovers.
