XBOAT ref:6200. My Dufour 325 is a well-built and seaworthy fast cruiser. It will perfectly meet the needs of sailors looking for an easy-to-handle, fast, and secure cruising sailboat.
Limited edition "ARPEGE".
It is a first-hand boat, and I have never chartered it.
Reputed marine qualities and construction (all nautical literature attests to this).
The genoa was renovated in 2022, and the mainsail, along with the lazy bag and lazy jack, were renewed in 2024. The deck hardware is in good condition. The main mooring with an electric windlass, 30 meters of chain, and 10 m of cable.
Rudder, Raymarine autopilot, log, depth sounder, windmeter, VHF
Volvo engine 19 HP with Sail-Drive transmission. Exhaust elbow and gas collector changed in 2025. Antifouling applied by yard every spring, including June 2025.
Our sailboat stands out because it has been outfitted for comfortable extended cruises with family:
- 2 double cabins with additional portlights at the rear, sliding door at the front, and 3 berths in the saloon.
- The saloon and cockpit tables can accommodate up to 8 guests.
- Kitchen with 2 burners, oven, fridge with 3 ice bins, additional storage, and seawater pressurized sink. (kitchen supply via 2 Butagaz cylinders).
- Hand basin, shower, electric toilet renewed in 2024, latest through-hull fitting in 2025. Black water tank.
- Water heater powered by 220V or the engine circuit.
- Cockpit locker reconfigured (more accessible storage, cockpit table, and rear transverse berth 140x200).
- Solar panels mounted on a RollBar (2 x 180 W and a charge regulator).
- One engine battery and 2 service batteries with slow discharge.
- LED lighting, WiFi outlets, and 12V outlets throughout the boat.
The deck and cockpit are very well organized. Movement is very easy, whether going forward or handling maneuvers from the cockpit. The cockpit, specifically, is designed to facilitate maneuvers with a reduced crew, or even single-handed. The Dufour version features a tiller, the mainsheet tackle is located at the bottom of the cockpit, it can be installed and removed instantly, fully freeing the cockpit.
In practice, the Dufour 325 is a secure sailboat, both in construction and in sea behavior. It clearly prefers when the wind picks up. The boat remains well-balanced at all times.
The layout of the Dufour 325 Grand Large is well thought out. Easy movement, suitable for living aboard with four people. The two cabins are spacious, very pleasant to live on at sea. I installed on a davit two 180 W solar panels, providing perfect electrical autonomy at sea.
Headroom is 1.87m under the companionway. More information and photos on the xboat.fr website.
