FAIRLINE Phantom 40 – 2004 – 2 x 370hp Volvo Penta TAMD63P EDC – 530 hours
Very nice example of the Fairline Phantom 40 in a remarkable state of preservation.
Built by the prestigious British shipyard Fairline, the Phantom 40 remains a reference on the flybridge cruiser market today. Appreciated for its quality of construction, excellent sea behavior, and particularly spacious volumes, it offers a level of comfort rarely matched in this category.
This 2004 unit is powered by two Volvo Penta TAMD63P engines of 370hp equipped with electronic EDC controls and has only 530 hours of operation since commissioning. Carefully maintained over the years, this boat is presented in a particularly attractive overall condition.
The navigation equipment is also duplicated on the flybridge for optimal handling comfort.
Exterior condition:
The boat shows a very good overall presentation. The hull sides retain a beautiful shine and the superstructures are particularly well preserved. The portholes, opening windows, fittings, and deck equipment demonstrate regular and meticulous maintenance.
The exterior furnishings benefit from clean and well-maintained teak, while the overall impression of the boat immediately conveys seriousness and quality. No dents or noticeable defects were observed during our inspection.
Interior:
The interior condition is simply remarkable for a unit of this age.
The current owners have always paid particular attention to preserving the boat, especially by protecting heavily used passage areas. The original woodwork, typical of Fairline craftsmanship, is in superb condition. Upholstery, wall panels, carpets, and floors are particularly well preserved and contribute to the warm, high-end atmosphere characteristic of this model.
No signs of humidity, leaks, or significant deterioration have been found.
Mechanical:
The two Volvo Penta TAMD63P engines have only 530 hours of operation since new, a notably low figure for this type of unit.
The engine compartment is clean, organized, and reflects the care taken in overall boat maintenance. Servicing has been regularly performed, and the bilge areas are in particularly reassuring condition.
This low usage, combined with rigorous maintenance, allows us to offer a Phantom 40 with a remarkable overall condition.
Electronics:
The onboard electronics are complete, modern, and perfectly suited to the boat's navigation program. The Raymarine HybridTouch system combines GPS, chartplotter, and depth sounder and is complemented by an autopilot and a fixed VHF.
The duplication of key equipment on the flybridge allows full enjoyment of outdoor navigation while maintaining a high level of comfort and safety.
