Fauroux 50 – One-off carbon, high-level safety and performance

Unique Fauroux 50, built in 2008 by the Fauroux shipyard, a true one-off combining performance, safety, and exceptional build quality. This yacht was designed with intentionally oversized rigging, guaranteeing maximum reliability for offshore sailing and racing.

The infusion sandwich construction with glass/Airex, combined with a carbon mast and boom, provides the boat with rigidity, lightness, and remarkable performance. The hull was completely repainted 2 years ago, and maintenance is followed with strict annual preventive upkeep .

The sail plan is particularly comprehensive and performance-oriented: big racing sail, two racing spinnakers (a very recent ~15 hours, and another about 1 year old), code 0, and asymmetrical spinnaker. The cruising main sail is planned, only lacking due to the owner’s time constraints.

The deck equipment is top-tier: electric winch, other manual racing winches, carbon genoa track, carbon passerelle, cockpit table in carbon, two large aft lockers, secure and ergonomic cockpit. The sun awning at anchor provides real comfort during cruising.

Navigation is managed by modern electronics with a B&G H5000 autopilot, ensuring precision and reliability. The standing rigging, anchor (rode overhauled 3 years ago), and the sealing of the forward portholes (refitted this year) attest to rigorous technical follow-up.

Interior-wise, the boat offers generous volumes, a refined finish, and remarkable modularity, with a functional chart table, L-shaped galley, bright saloon, and comfortable cabins. The acrylic windows were replaced 5 years ago.
