Cruising sailboat renowned for its maritime qualities, onboard comfort, and versatility. This boat is in a three-cabin version with two heads, offering a pleasant living space and ideal for family or friends sailing.
The boat is equipped with a teak cockpit, an electric windlass with a 10 mm chain, and a Delta anchor weighing 16 kg. The draft is 1.70 m, allowing easy access to many anchorages while maintaining good performance.
The engine has 850 hours and has been very well maintained with a complete overhaul carried out in 2026. During this service, heat exchangers were replaced, the hydrolube bearing and stuffing box were changed, and all thru-hulls and valves were renewed. The batteries are new (2026), and the water heater was replaced in 2025. The hull has also been serviced in 2026.
The boat is equipped with a bow thruster, autopilot, and depth sounder. It currently does not have a GPS.
Regarding rigging, the mainsail is recent (2024) and in very good condition. The genoa is due for inspection. The standing rigging was inspected three years ago with some components replaced, providing reassurance for safe navigation.
This Sun Odyssey 40 is a healthy, well-maintained boat ready to sail. Only the emergency liferaft and genoa require revisions for a complete overhaul.
