The Lagoon 40 is a bluewater cruising catamaran built by Lagoon shipyard in France. This Aileron sailboat is mounted on a split sloop, built by designers Van Peteghem and Lauriot Prévost, with a maximum draft of 1.35 m. Production started in 2019.

The Lagoon 40 debuted alongside Lagoon’s motor yachts Seventy 8 and Lagoon 50 at the Paris Boat Show in December 2017, showcasing new visual features. Lagoon Shipyard launched the Lagoon 40 designed by Patrick le Quément and Marc Van Peteghem, highlighting a new style.
