A CATAMARAN-TYPE HULL
The hull is the DNA of the boat.
With two bows as thin as two knife blades, it offers reduced resistance to forward motion when underway, ideal for electric propulsion.
At high speed, the passage on the sea is smooth, the boat cuts through the wave rather than jumping over it.
At anchor, the boat is stable, the two spaced half-hulls naturally reduce rolling.
The Pinball is primarily powered by the in-board MERCRUISER V8 350 hp engine.
The REGEN electric motor recharges the battery in 2 hours. During planing, it adds its instant power of 30 hp to that of the in-board engine.
As soon as the boat is planing, the nozzles empty and the boat behaves as if they do not exist.
The boat moves forward and maneuvers without any articulated parts, nor propeller outside the hull!
The electric motors are powered by a 20 kWh Lithium battery with 1h15 autonomy at 5 knots.
The inboard engine is off and the Z-drive leg is raised.
ALL-ELECTRIC RANGE:
THE THRUSTER PROPULSION AS WELL AS THE HULL HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO OFFER THE BEST PERFORMANCE.
The nozzles are 30 cm diameter tubes, at the propeller level, streamlined to accelerate the water flow forward.
The range is 2 hours at 4 knots and 1h20 at 5 knots.
Battery empty? Switch to hybrid mode and the batteries will be recharged automatically!
9 meters long, the Pinball is easy to pilot, even for the less experienced.
Regarding controls, nothing superfluous, the boat is piloted as standard with a steering wheel and a single throttle.
Switching between hybrid mode / electric mode is done via two LED switches, yellow and blue respectively.
A 10” screen enhances understanding of the boat’s operation.
