Hybrid propulsion catamaran (gasoline thermal / electric) from the PINBALL shipyard by OCQUETEAU.

A CATAMARAN TYPE HULL

The hull is the boat's DNA.

With two bows as thin as two knife blades, it offers reduced resistance to forward movement, ideal for electric propulsion.
At high speed, passage through the sea is smooth, the boat cuts through waves rather than jumping over them.
At anchor, the boat is stable, the two spaced hull halves naturally reduce rolling.

The Pinball is mainly powered by the inboard MERCRUISER V8 350 hp engine.

The REGEN electric motor recharges the battery in 2 hours. During planing, it adds its instant power of 30 hp to that of the inboard engine.

As soon as the boat is planing, the ducts empty and the boat behaves as if they do not exist.
The boat moves and maneuvers without any articulated part or propeller outside the hull!

The electric motors are powered by a 20 kWh Lithium battery with 1h15 autonomy at 5 knots.
The inboard engine is off and the Z-drive leg is raised.

ALL-ELECTRIC AUTONOMY:
THE DUCTED PROPULSION AND THE HULL HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO PROVIDE THE BEST PERFORMANCE.

The ducts are 30 cm diameter tubes, at the propeller level, streamlined to accelerate water flow forward.
The autonomy is 2 hours at 4 knots and 1h20 at 5 knots.
Batteries empty? Switch to hybrid mode and the batteries will be recharged automatically!

9 meters long, the Pinball is easy to pilot, even for the less experienced.
Regarding controls, nothing superfluous, the boat is standardly piloted with a steering wheel and a single throttle.
Switching between hybrid mode / electric mode is done via two LED switches, respectively yellow and blue.
A 10“ screen enhances understanding of the boat's operation.
