The Italian manufacturer Sessa Marine offers a very diverse range with boats from the 5.75-meter open to the luxurious 21-meter yacht. It also has a wide range of sun decks called Key Largo, except for the One – the smallest of all – which is a traditional open. In recent years, Sessa has launched some of these models in inboard and outboard versions, such as the Key Largo 34, which we had the opportunity to command offshore from the port of Varazze in Italy, near the French border. Docked at the quay, this impressive 10-meter long sun deck reveals sleek curves.

Like all other models in the range, this boat was designed by the renowned designer Christian Grande. The Key Largo 34 features a very successful lines, both harmonious, fluid, and contemporary. The program of this impressive 10-meter long sun deck is undeniably Mediterranean. The Key Largo 34 has two distinct living spaces, the foredeck and the cockpit. The huge fore sunpad is dedicated to relaxing and long sunbathing sessions. It is accessible via two wide sidedecks protected by a railing.

Very convivial spaces
As for the cockpit, it is mainly reserved for dining and picnics with family or friends, thanks to the large L-shaped bench that can seat many guests around the beautiful teak table. This table can fold in half to save space or lower to form a second sunbathing area. Like most boats, the seating areas contain large storage lockers. The thick leaning-post accommodates the captain and co-pilot, and features an outdoor kitchen equipped as standard with a sink, a cutting board, numerous storage options, and optionally a refrigerator and a stove. While the relax areas are well designed, the helm station has received special attention.

The comfort is excellent, the instrumentation is well placed, the steering wheel is adjustable, and the throttle controls are conveniently located for standing operation; however, when the pilot is seated on the comfortable bucket seat, the wheel will seem a bit far. The GPS display area is ideally located for easy readability. Although the Key Largo 34 is a fantastic boat for day trips, it can also easily adapt to a cruising program with a welcoming and warm cabin layout, comprising a U-shaped forward convertible salon with double berth, a beautiful mid-cabin, and a separate toilet compartment. The interior décor, very refined and tidy, features noble wood and light fabrics.

Standard Equipment Quite Rich
The long hull sides offering stunning sea views from the forward cabin while providing plenty of light are also appreciated. The mid-cabin is equipped with two single berths that can be combined with a central mattress to form a double berth. The toilet has a sink, a handheld showerhead, and electric marine toilets coupled with a black water tank.
