The modern hull is inspired by the latest research in offshore racing. The architect's goal, Javier Soto Acebal, is to offer maximum stability, both lateral and longitudinal, while maximizing performance through optimized waterline length and wetted surface. The slight chine combined with the elegant rounding of the bow, resulting from this study, also significantly increases the habitable volume. The forward cabin is truly impressive!

With the new Solaris 55, you will naturally benefit from the brand's legendary structural strength, resulting from three composite structural bulkheads laminated in a monobloc to the hull and deck constructed with infused sandwich. Another Solaris secret: the keel with its lead bulb, its extra-wide coupling platform integrated into the hull structure.

Solaris Yachts offers an optional Weldox stainless steel keel, whose sophisticated structure allows for a lighter sailboat. The bulb's weight is increased in this case, reducing the overall boat weight while increasing the righting moment. This option, combined with the carbon mast, will delight performance enthusiasts.

Regarding port maneuvers, the two retractable bow thrusters with variable speed work wonders!

Note also that the tender garage can accommodate a 2.70m model, with launching facilitated by the platform opening beyond 90°. Access to this platform is greatly simplified by the three steps integrated into the hull.
