The Gallant 53 was designed by the famous naval architect E.G. Van de Stadt. It was the largest production fiberglass yacht built. A total of 22 yachts were built as sloop or ketch by Southern Ocean Shipyard and by Tyler's in England. In 1967, the Gallant 53 received the Lloyd's Register of Shipping 1968 Yacht Trophy for its outstanding design, performance, and craftsmanship. The interior layouts as well as its deck plan are very spacious and open, ensuring optimal living comfort on board. Engine replaced in 2020, teak deck from 2015, charming sailboat, ready to sail with its new owners.
