Tofinou 8

The Tofinou 8 is a classic sailboat with a modern lines designed by the architectural firm Joubert / Nivelt and built in the tradition of artisanal construction of the yard.

This dayboat is capable in light weather as well as in a breeze: the Tofinou 8 is responsive at the helm, offering sensations similar to those of a sport dinghy, easy to handle with a reduced crew or when sailing solo. The hull of the Tofinou 8, characterized by its straight bow and very flat aft lines, proves to be very stable and excellent at all points of sail.

In its "fixed keel" version, the draft of the Tofinou 8 is 1.70 m. In its "rotating keel" version, its draft can vary from 1.90 m to less than 88 cm, which provides the possibility during sea outings to approach a beach or cove with shallow depth, to enter a port at low tide, or even to dry out.
