The Wauquiez CENTURION 47 is a model designed by Ed Dubois and built by Wauquiez shipyard. This sailboat is renowned for its performance, robustness, and elegance. It is suitable for offshore sailing, particularly upwind.
Preparation and Upgrades
The sailboat underwent a complete overhaul and major upgrades between 2019 and 2024:
Recent work: replacement of the teak deck, window changes, standing rigging refurbishment, and full engine overhaul.
Modern equipment: new Fisher Panda generator (2024) and upgraded NKE electronics.
Interior Layout
The sailboat features three cabins: an aft owner's cabin, a forward double cabin, and a crew cabin. It also includes a saloon, a fully equipped galley, and two bathrooms.

The sailboat is fitted with a serviced Lombardini 60 HP engine, a complete set of sails (mainsail and genoa from 2017, staysail, storm jib, and spinnaker serviced), and modern navigation instruments (NKE control unit, AIS, autopilot).

Formerly owned by artist Philippe Laville, this sailboat has sailed from the French coasts to the lagoons of New Caledonia, passing through New Zealand and Tahiti.
