Wellcraft has launched three new 28-foot models designed to conquer new territories: the Wellcraft 28 Speedster, the Wellcraft 28 T-Top, and the Wellcraft 28 Explorer.

Each shares the same advanced hull design, while catering to different needs: outdoor freedom with or without T-Top, or a fully protected helm station for exploring distant shores.

The Wellcraft 28 T-Top and the Wellcraft 28 Explorer will make their world debut at the Düsseldorf Boat Show 2026. The North American debut of the Wellcraft 28 T-Top will take place at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2026.

Configurations

Wellcraft has designed distinct rear cockpit configurations, each transforming how boaters experience onboard living.

The LOUNGE is standard — a setup designed for enjoying the sea. Able to seat up to 8 people in a C configuration, with 8 forward-facing seats for optimal safety at high speed, it is the most social configuration for boaters who love to entertain.

The Wellcraft 28 T-Top and the Wellcraft 28 Speedster can both be transformed into a sun lover's paradise with the RELAX rear cockpit layout featuring a large sun deck, hidden storage, and additional seating.

Standard with an L-shaped bench, a table, and a kitchenette, the cockpit of the Wellcraft 28 can be upgraded with three other configurations: fold-away benches, live wells and fish bins, bait box, etc., for the Barracuda version; a large central sun deck with a fold-down backrest for the Relax version; and a rear cabin housing a double bed for the Sleeper configuration, which is only compatible with the Explorer version.
