Discover the X-452, a sailboat with refined design enhanced by noble wood finishes and custom interiors that invite relaxation and comfort. Always meticulously maintained, this boat has benefited from numerous upgrades over the years, guaranteeing ready-to-use, worry-free sailing.
Major updates in 2023/2024 attest to its excellent condition: a powerful bow thruster, new AGM battery and engine service, recently installed electric toilets, a modern microwave, a brand-new refrigeration unit, a charging dispenser, a state-of-the-art inverter, as well as renewed halyards, sheets, and barber haulers. The windlass, chain, and anchor were also replaced the same year to ensure safety and efficiency.
Inside, the X-452 offers two spacious cabins and two modern bathrooms. The forward master cabin features an en-suite bathroom with an electric toilet installed in 2023/2024, while the aft cabin offers two comfortable single beds. An additional bathroom with shower and electric toilet completes the space. The saloon is particularly welcoming with its convertible dinette, two sofa groups, and a convivial dining table. To starboard, the chart table is ideally positioned, while to port, the L-shaped galley extending towards the stern is equipped with a three-burner stove, gas oven, recent microwave, three sinks with taps and seawater pump, and a refrigerator with new refrigeration unit. The entire area is lit by interior and exterior LED lights for a warm and functional atmosphere.
On the instrumentation side, this sailboat is equipped with a complete and powerful set: VHF with chart and well, two chartplotters, three GARMIN GMI10 and GNX 20 multifunction instruments, two forward and aft echo sounders, an additional Navman depth sounder, a compass, an AUTOHELM 6000 autopilot, an AIS receiver, a radio with speakers, an inverter, a QUICK battery charger, as well as two new service batteries and a new engine battery (2023). An autoclave, three bilge pumps, two shower pumps, a 220V water heater, and a MAX PROP three-blade propeller complete this technical package, along with the recently installed bow thruster.
For rigging, the X-452 is equipped with eight LEWMAR winches, a 1400 W quick windlass, a 20 kg Delta anchor with 70 meters of chain, as well as a cockpit and foredeck teak from 2019. The cockpit teak grating was renewed in 2022, accompanied by comfortable cushions, a folding table in the well, an opening platform with a custom swim ladder, a cockpit shower, and a folding aluminum and wood gangway. The auxiliary engine is covered, and halyards, sheets, and barber haulers were replaced in 2023.
The rig is optimized for performance with a complete sail inventory: two North Sails mainsails for cruising and racing, a genoa, a spinnaker, and various jibs adapted for all points of sail. The system includes three halyards, a cunningham, two reefing points, a German mainsail track, a double preventer, a spinnaker mast, and a removable forestay. A NAVTEC hydraulic backstay tensioner with gauge ensures perfect rig tension. The removable dual-channel jib furler facilitates sail handling directly from the deck, and a rarely used TUFF-LUFF staysail adds flexibility.
The rigorous maintenance of the X-452 includes complete anti-osmosis treatment performed in 2020, recent antifouling (August 2023), and replacement of hull bands and side portlights in 2020 and 2021. The plexiglass of the deck hatches is in the process of being renewed. The cockpit and foredeck teak were fully restored in 2019. The CARIBONI one-piece mast, repainted in 2018, and certified rigging guarantee strength and safety. Wind instruments were modernized in 2016, with many mechanical parts and engines checked and regularly replaced.
In summary, the X-452 represents a sailboat combining elegance, comfort, performance, and reliability, ready to offer unforgettable sailing experiences in the best conditions. Agency fees included, it awaits its new owner to take to the sea.
