Discover the X-452, an elegantly designed sailboat enhanced by fine wood finishes and custom interiors that invite relaxation and comfort. Always meticulously maintained, this boat has benefitted from numerous upgrades over the years, ensuring ready-to-go trouble-free navigation.
Major updates in 2023/2024 attest to its excellent condition: a high-performance bow thruster, a new AGM battery and engine service, recently installed electric toilets, a modern microwave, a brand-new refrigeration unit, a charging distributor, a state-of-the-art inverter, as well as renewed halyards, sheets, and blocks. The windlass, chain, and anchor were also replaced this year to ensure safety and efficiency.
Inside, the X-452 offers two spacious cabins and two modern bathrooms. The forward master cabin features an en-suite bathroom with an electric WC installed in 2023/2024, while the aft cabin provides two comfortable single beds. An additional bathroom with a shower and electric WC completes this space. The saloon is particularly welcoming with a convertible dinette, two groups of sofas, and a convivial dining table. Starboard, the chart table is ideally positioned, while port side, the L-shaped galley extends towards the stern and is equipped with a three-burner stove, a gas oven, a recent microwave, three sinks with faucets and seawater pump, and a refrigerator with a new refrigeration unit. All illuminated by interior and exterior LED lights for a warm and functional atmosphere.
On the instrumentation side, this sailboat is equipped with a comprehensive and high-performance setup: VHF with chart and hatch, two chart plotters, three multifunction displays GARMIN GMI10 and GNX 20, front and rear depth sounders, an additional Navman fishfinder, a magnetic compass, an AUTOHELM 6000 autopilot, an AIS receiver, a radio with speakers, an inverter, a QUICK battery charger, as well as two service batteries and a new engine battery (2023). An autoclave, three bilge pumps, two shower pumps, a 220V water heater, and a MAX PROP three-blade propeller complete this technical ensemble, along with the recently installed bow thruster.
For rigging, the X-452 is equipped with eight LEWMAR winches, a fast 1400 W windlass, a 20 kg Delta anchor with 70 meters of chain, as well as a teak cockpit and foredeck from 2019. The teak cockpit grating was renewed in 2022, complemented by comfortable cushions, a folding table in the hatch, a folding platform with custom bathing ladder, a cockpit shower, and a foldable aluminum and wood passerelle. The FB engine is serviced, and halyards, sheets, and braces were replaced in 2023.
The rig is optimized for performance with a complete set of sails: two North Sails mainsails for cruising and racing, a genoa, a spinnaker, and various foresails suitable for all points of sail. The system includes three halyards, a cunningham, two reefing lines, a German mainsail system, a double halyard, a spinnaker pole, and a removable forestay. A NAVTEC hydraulic backstay tensioner with manometer ensures perfect rig tension. The double-channel removable furler allows for easy sail handling directly from the deck, and a rarely used TUFF-LUFF stem adds flexibility.
The rigorous maintenance of the X-452 is evidenced by a full anti-osmosis treatment in 2020, recent antifouling (August 2023), and the replacement of hull bands and portlights in 2020 and 2021. The plexiglass of the deck hatches is currently being renewed. The teak cockpit and foredeck were completely restored in 2019. The monobloc CARIBONI mast, repainted in 2018, and the certified rigging guarantee robustness and safety. Wind instruments were modernized in 2016, with many mechanical parts and engines regularly checked and replaced.
In summary, the X-452 combines elegance, comfort, performance, and reliability, ready to provide unforgettable sailing experiences in the best conditions. Agency fees included, it is only waiting for its new owner to set sail.
