Major updates in 2023/2024 attest to its excellent condition: a high-performance bow thruster, a new AGM battery bank and engine, recently installed electric toilets, a modern microwave, a brand-new refrigeration unit, a recharging distributor, the latest inverter, and renewed halyards, sheets, and booms. The windlass, chain, and anchor were also replaced this same year to ensure safety and effectiveness.

Inside, the X-452 offers two spacious cabins and two modern bathrooms. The forward master cabin has an en-suite bathroom with an electric toilet installed in 2023/2024, while the aft cabin features two comfortable single beds. An additional bathroom with shower and electric toilet completes this area. The saloon is particularly welcoming with its convertible dinette, two groups of sofas, and a convivial dining table. Starboard, the chart table is ideally positioned, while portside, the L-shaped galley extended towards the stern is equipped with a three-burner hob, a gas oven, a recent microwave, three sinks with faucets and sea water pump, and a refrigerator with a new refrigeration unit. All illuminated by interior and exterior LED lights for a warm and functional atmosphere.

On the instrumentation side, this yacht features comprehensive and high-performance equipment: VHF with chart and well, two GPS chartplotters, three multifunction displays GARMIN GMI10 and GNX 20, front and rear depth sounders, an additional Navman fishfinder, a compass, AUTOHELM 6000 autopilot, AIS receiver, radio with speakers, inverter, QUICK battery charger, as well as two service batteries and a new engine battery (2023). An autoclave, three bilge pumps, two shower pumps, a 220V water heater, and a MAX PROP three-blade propeller complete this technical setup, along with the recently installed bow thruster.

For sail handling, the X-452 is equipped with eight LEWMAR winches, a high-speed 1400 W windlass, a 20 kg Delta anchor with 70 meters of chain, as well as teak cockpit and foredeck from 2019. The teak cockpit grating was renewed in 2022, along with comfortable cushions, a folding table in the well, a opening platform with custom swim ladder, cockpit shower, and a foldable aluminum and wood passerelle. The FB engine is maintained, and the halyards, sheets, and booms were replaced in 2023.

The rig is optimized for performance with a complete set of sails: two North Sails main sails for cruising and racing, a genoa, a spinnaker, and various foresails suited for all points of sail. The system includes three halyards, a Cunningham, two reefing lines, a German mainsail reefing system, a double halyard, a spinnaker pole, and a removable forestay. A NAVTEC hydraulic backstay tensioner with gauge ensures perfect rig tension. The twin-canal removable furling foresail furler facilitates sail handling directly from the deck, and a rarely used TUFF-LUFF forestay adds flexibility.

The rigorous maintenance of the X-452 includes a complete anti-osmose treatment carried out in 2020, recent antifouling (August 2023), and the replacement of hull stripes and side portholes in 2020 and 2021. The plexiglass for the deck hatches is currently being renewed. The cockpit and foredeck teak have been fully restored in 2019. The CARIBONI monobloc mast, repainted in 2018, and the certified rigging guarantee robustness and safety. Wind instruments were modernized in 2016, with many mechanical and engine parts checked and replaced regularly.
