Discover the X-452, a sailboat with refined design enhanced by noble wood finishes and custom interiors that invite relaxation and comfort. Always meticulously maintained, this boat has benefited over the years from numerous improvements, guaranteeing ready-to-go and worry-free navigation.
The major updates of 2023/2024 attest to its excellent condition: a high-performance bow thruster, a new AGM battery and engine service, recently installed electric toilets, a modern microwave, a brand new refrigeration unit, a recharge distributor, state-of-the-art inverter, as well as renewed halyards, sheets, and booms. The windlass, chain, and anchor were also replaced in the same year to ensure safety and efficiency.
Inside, the X-452 offers two spacious cabins and two modern bathrooms. The forward master cabin benefits from an en suite bathroom with electric toilet installed in 2023/2024, while the aft cabin features two comfortable single beds. An additional bathroom with shower and electric toilet completes this space. The saloon is particularly welcoming with its convertible dinette, two groups of sofas, and a convivial dining table. Starboard, the chart table is ideally positioned, while portside, the L-shaped kitchen, extended towards the stern, is equipped with a three-burner stove, a gas oven, a recent microwave, three sinks with faucets and seawater pumps, as well as a refrigerator with a new refrigeration unit. The entire area is illuminated by interior and exterior LED lights for a warm and functional atmosphere.
On instrumentation, this sailboat is equipped with a full and high-performance setup: VHF with chart and locker, two chartplotters, three multifunction tools GARMIN GMI10 and GNX 20, two depth sounders fore and aft, an additional Navman fishfinder, a compass, AUTOHELM 6000 autopilot, AIS receiver, a radio with speakers, an inverter, a QUICK battery charger, as well as two service batteries and a new engine battery (2023). An autoclave, three bilge pumps, two shower pumps, a 220V water heater, and a MAX PROP three-blade propeller complete this technical package, along with the recently installed bow thruster.
For rigging, the X-452 is equipped with eight LEWMAR winches, a fast 1400 W electric windlass, a 20 kg Delta anchor with 70 meters of chain, and teak cockpit and foredeck in 2019. The teak cockpit grating was renewed in 2022, with comfortable cushions, a folding table in the well, a hatch with a custom swim platform, a cockpit shower, and a foldable aluminum and wood passerelle. The FB engine is serviced, and halyards, sheets, and booms were replaced in 2023.
The rigging is optimized for performance with a complete set of sails: two North Sails cruising and racing main sails, a genoa, a spinnaker, and various foresails suitable for all points of sail. The system includes three halyards, a Cunningham, two reefing lines, an German mainsail reefing system, a double halyard, a spinnaker pole, and a removable backstay. A NAVTEC hydraulic backstay tensioner with a manometer ensures perfect rig tension. The removable dual-channel foresail furler allows sail handling directly from the deck, and a rarely used TUFF-LUFF backstay adds flexibility.
The rigorous maintenance of the X-452 is reflected in a comprehensive anti-osmosis treatment performed in 2020, recent antifouling (August 2023), and the replacement of hull tapes and side portholes in 2020 and 2021. The plexiglass of the deck hatches is currently being renewed. The teak cockpit and foredeck were fully restored in 2019. The CARIBONI monobloc mast, repainted in 2018, and the certified rigging guarantee robustness and safety. Wind instruments were modernized in 2016, with many mechanical and engine parts regularly checked and replaced.
In summary, the X-452 represents a sailboat combining elegance, comfort, performance, and reliability, ready to offer unforgettable sailing experiences in the best conditions. Agency fees included, it now only awaits its new owner to set sail.
