The major updates of 2023/2024 attest to its excellent condition: a high-performance bow thruster, a new service AGM battery and engine, recently installed electric toilets, a modern microwave, a brand new refrigeration unit, a charging distributor, a state-of-the-art inverter, and renewed halyards, sheets, and blocks. The windlass, chain, and anchor were also replaced this year to ensure safety and efficiency.

Inside, the X-452 offers two spacious cabins and two modern bathrooms. The main cabin, located at the front, features an en-suite bathroom with an electric toilet installed in 2023/2024, while the rear cabin offers two comfortable single beds. An additional bathroom with shower and electric toilet completes this space. The saloon is particularly welcoming with its convertible dinette, two groups of sofas, and a friendly dining table. To starboard, the chart table is ideally positioned, while to port, the L-shaped kitchen, extended toward the stern, is equipped with a three-burner stove, a gas oven, a recent microwave, three sinks with taps and sea water pump, as well as a refrigerator with a new refrigeration unit. The whole area is illuminated by interior and exterior LED lights for a warm and functional atmosphere.

On the instrumentation side, this sailboat is equipped with a complete and high-performance setup: VHF with chart and well, two chart plotter GPS, three GARMIN GMI10 and GNX 20 multifunction tools, two forward and rear depth sounders, an additional Navman sounder, a compass, an AUTOHELM 6000 autopilot, an AIS receiver, a radio with speakers, an inverter, a QUICK battery charger, as well as two new service batteries and one new engine battery (2023). A pressure water heater, three bilge pumps, two shower pumps, a 220V water heater, and a MAX PROP three-blade propeller complete this technical assembly, along with the recently installed bow thruster.

For the equipment, the X-452 is equipped with eight LEWMAR winches, a 1400 W quick windlass, a 20 kg Delta anchor with 70 meters of chain, as well as a cockpit and forward deck made of teak from 2019. The teak cockpit grate was renewed in 2022, accompanied by comfortable cushions, a folding table in the well, an opening platform with a custom swim ladder, a cockpit shower, and a foldable aluminum and wood gangway. The FB engine is maintained, and the halyards, sheets, and blocks were replaced in 2023.

The rigging is optimized for performance with a complete sail set: two North Sails mainsails for cruising and racing, a genoa, a spinnaker, and various jibs adapted to all points of sail. The system includes three halyards, a cunningham, two reefing lines, a German mainsail circuit, a double halyard, a spinnaker pole, and a removable forestay. A NAVTEC hydraulic backstay tensioner with a pressure gauge ensures perfect tension of the rigging. The removable double channel furling jib makes maneuvering sails directly from the deck easier, and a rarely used TUFF-LUFF forestay adds flexibility.

The rigorous maintenance of the X-452 is reflected in a comprehensive anti-osmosis treatment carried out in 2020, a recent antifouling (August 2023), and the replacement of the hull bands and side portholes in 2020 and 2021. The plexiglass of the deck portholes is undergoing renewal. The cockpit and forward deck in teak were fully restored in 2019. The CARIBONI monobloc mast, repainted in 2018, and the certified rigging ensure robustness and safety. The wind instruments were modernized in 2016, with numerous mechanical and engine parts checked and replaced regularly.
