During our test on February 11, 2018, the Jeanneau Cap Camarat 5.5 WA and CC models, freshly redesigned by designer Patrice Sarrazin, impressed us with their modern aesthetics while preserving the classic lines of the range. The transom design was improved with a polyester hatch facilitated by a sliding system, allowing simplified access to the engine and optimizing space. In addition to a widened cockpit thanks to removable extensions, these models, each with their own character, adapt to the varied needs of boaters, whether for fishing, family outings, or leisurely sunny days. The redesign of the helm console and the overall ergonomics of the boats showcase Jeanneau's expertise in the nautical field, offering users a pleasant and functional navigation experience.
The Jeanneau Cap Camarat 5.5 WA underwent notable modifications that significantly improve its deck layout and ergonomics. The transom was reworked with a polyester hatch now replaced by a central sliding part, facilitating engine access while optimizing space. In the cockpit, removable corner extensions increase the available surface, ideal for fishing enthusiasts. The ergonomics were rethought with new handrails and revisited access to the technical compartment. Moreover, the helm console was modernized, integrating throttle control for a more intuitive handling, making each sea outing more enjoyable and safer.
Comparing the Center Console (CC) and Walkaround (WA) versions of the Cap Camarat 5.5, it is clear that each has its own advantages and disadvantages in terms of storage space and comfort. The CC version, with its open design, offers easy circulation on the deck but results in limited storage space, which can be a drawback for those wishing to carry a lot of equipment. In contrast, the WA version stands out with its habitable cabin, ideal for longer cruises. With a large sunbathing area at the front and additional storage, it offers superior comfort for passengers while remaining practical for leisure and fishing activities. Thus, the choice between these two configurations depends on the specific needs of the users, whether they seek maximum accessibility or better comfort on board.
The Jeanneau Cap Camarat 5.5 WA is distinguished by a powerful engine, offering 115 horsepower allowing it to reach speeds of nearly 35 knots. Its cornering behavior is particularly appreciated, guaranteeing smooth and controlled navigation even in difficult sea conditions. Whether for leisurely rides or more sporty outings, it adapts perfectly to different types of sea. This model combines agility and comfort, making every sea trip an enjoyable experience for boaters.
On board the Cap Camarat 5.5 WA, the cabin space is optimized to offer appreciable comfort during your sea outings. Equipped with a large sunbathing area at the front, it is a true haven for relaxation to enjoy the sun while admiring the landscape. Inside, the cabin is accessible via an elegant smoked Plexiglas door and transforms into a cozy resting area, capable of accommodating two people thanks to a clever extension that enlarges the sleeping area. Furthermore, well-designed lockers are integrated to store your belongings, ensuring an organized and pleasant onboard environment. With these layout options, the Cap Camarat 5.5 WA positions itself as an ideal choice for those seeking comfort and conviviality during their nautical escapes.
The Cap Camarat 5.5 WA Series 2 from Jeanneau is recommended by bateauavendre.fr for its optimized ergonomics and generous living space, ideal for small cruises and day trips. With smart design and a modern look, this model offers comfort and friendliness. Its excellent sea handling and balanced performance make it perfect for a variety of nautical activities.
The Jeanneau Cap Camarat 5.5 WA Series 2 stands out due to its many improvements that make it both functional and pleasant to sail.
