The features of this 250 hp V6 outboard engine, such as Digital Electric Steering (DES), Yamaha's exclusive TotalTilt function, and the Thrust Enhancing Reverse Exhaust (TERE) system, add to the breathtaking new look inspired by the Yamaha XTO, clearly positioning it as a premium Yamaha outboard engine.
Digital Electric Steering (DES) is now standard on 250 hp V6 engines equipped with Steer-by-Wire (SBW). DES allows for smoother and more intuitive helm control, while all 250 hp V6 engines without SBW are fully compatible with DES available as an option.
