DF140BG

The improvements made to Suzuki's new DF140BG outboard engine go far beyond simple electronic control integration. The optimized compression ratio of 10.6/1 allows this just over 2-liter outboard engine to increase maximum speed with better acceleration while improving thermal efficiency.

Energy efficiency has also been optimized compared to the existing DF140A model. Tests have shown a 5 to 7% improvement in energy efficiency for the DF140BG over a mid to high speed range.

The redesigned cowling incorporates a new air intake with optimized water separation and a silencer system that reduces engine noise to offer comfortable navigation at all speeds.
