Combining Lean Burn technology, a semi-direct air intake, and a high-performance compression ratio of 10.2 to 1, this new outboard is both frugal, powerful, and clean. Compared to its predecessor, the DF175A is 14% more fuel-efficient.

With more torque (2.7% more), combined with the offset crankshaft at 2-stage reduction, this new engine delivers more power across the entire RPM range. Even on heavier or more loaded boats, the DF175A pushes performance a notch higher.

The DF175A now shares the same block as the renowned DF200A. Large displacement and precision mechanics provide better acceleration at low and mid-range speeds. We thus meet our customers' desires for high performance combined with fuel efficiency.

These new outboards benefit from proven technologies found on Suzuki's "Ultimate" four-stroke engines, ensuring increasing reliability year after year. An knock sensor preserves engine smoothness to improve lifespan. An oxygen sensor enhances engine efficiency, and Suzuki's water detection system protects the engine from the effects of poor combustion, stalling, and corrosion.
