Combining Lean Burn technology, a semi-direct air intake, and a high-performance compression ratio of 10.2:1, this new outboard motor is economical, powerful, and clean. Compared to its predecessor, the DF175A is 14% more fuel-efficient.

With increased torque (by 2.7%), combined with the shift in the drive gear to a two-stage reduction, this new engine delivers more power across the entire RPM range. Even on heavier or more loaded boats, the DF175A pushes performance to the next level.

The DF175A now shares the same block as the renowned DF200A. Large displacement and precision mechanics offer better acceleration at low and mid-range speeds. We thus meet our customers' desires for high performance combined with efficiency.

These new outboard motors benefit from proven technologies from Suzuki's "Ultimate" 4-stroke engines, ensuring increased reliability year after year. An anti-knock sensor preserves engine smoothness to improve its lifespan. An oxygen sensor enhances engine efficiency, and the Suzuki water detection system protects the engine from the effects of poor combustion, stalling, and corrosion.
