Lean Burn Control technology enables optimization of the air-fuel mixture by anticipating fuel needs based on operating conditions, thus reducing consumption. On this engine, it achieves up to 16% savings.

Our new DF175AP engine is equipped with a revolutionary "keyless" start system: a contactless coded key transmits an access code to the engine start system. When the keyless device is within one meter of the main unit, simply power on the system, insert the cut-off cord, and start the engine with a push of a button. At port, just turn off the engine and switch off the system.

The DF175AP is the first 175 HP (129kW) outboard engine on the market with Suzuki Precision Control electronic throttle system and Suzuki Selective Rotation system, allowing configuration for standard or counter rotation via a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (gearcase), combined with an innovative electronic gear change system.
