When the key is less than one meter from the main unit, simply power on the system, insert the kill cord, and start the engine by pressing a button. Back at the dock, just turn off the engine and power down the system.
The DF175AP is the first 175HP (129kW) outboard on the market equipped with an electronic control system (Suzuki Precision Control) and Suzuki’s selective rotation system (Suzuki Selective Rotation), allowing the engine to be configured for normal or counter rotation thanks to a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (gearcase) and an innovative electronic gear shift system.
