Our new DF200AP outboard motor is equipped with a revolutionary "keyless" start system: a coded contactless key transmits an access code to the engine's ignition system. When the contactless key is within one meter of the main unit, simply turn on the system, insert the cut-off cord, and start the engine with a press of a button. When returning to port, just turn off the engine and switch off the system.

The DF200AP is the first 200HP (147kW) outboard engine on the market to feature an electronic control system (Suzuki Precision Control) and Suzuki's Selective Rotation system, which allows the engine to be configured for standard or counter-rotation via a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (gearcase), along with an innovative electronic gear shifting system.
