The Suzuki DF60ATHL engine features 3 cylinders, 12 valves actuated by a single overhead camshaft, and electronic fuel injection. It is also equipped with the Suzuki Lean Burn Control system known for its high performance and economical consumption.

The chain-driven, oil bath-lubricated, self-adjusting timing belt requires no specific maintenance or servicing.

This engine is also equipped with Suzuki Easy Start system with an impulse start command, high-capacity alternator, and tilt limiter.
