Larger footprint: The larger Command Thrust mounting creates a more extensive footprint in the water, allowing better boat control. The larger, streamlined lower unit combined with a larger diameter propeller can more easily bring a heavy boat up to planing speed and maintain it at lower speeds without affecting top speed.
