Two of these mid-range monsters on your transom provide maneuverability and docking safety similar to twin higher-power hulls, but at a much more affordable price. Unlike twin 115 hp engines from competitors, Mercury Twin 115 FourStrokes are Command Thrust models driving V6 category propellers, like those in the Enertia series, providing better acceleration and boat control in rough waters.

Powerful and efficient: Thanks to their lightweight and large displacement, Mercury's new FourStroke 80 - 115 models deliver generous torque and instant power. Since they don't have to exert as much effort as heavier engines or engines with lower displacement, these motors help boats plane faster, accelerate better, and achieve better cruising speed energy efficiency.

Lightweight and energy-efficient: Mercury's renowned engineering team has packed incredible power into these lightweight, compact four-cylinder, single-overhead cam engines. The 115 hp weighs 9 kilograms less than its closest four-stroke competitor, making it the lightest low-emission outboard in its power category.
The dry weight corresponds to the lightest model. Comparative weights refer to basic engines without oil, propeller, or integrated steering cylinder. Weights are based on owner’s manual specifications.

A larger footprint: The larger Command Thrust lower unit creates a more substantial presence in the water, enhancing boat control. The larger, streamlined gear case combined with a larger diameter propeller can help heavy boats plane more easily and maintain lower speeds without affecting top speed.

Assured quietness: Equipped with the same lifelong maintenance-free valve control system as our 150 FourStroke engines, the 80-115 hp FourStrokes are incredibly durable.
