The latest generation of F130 engine brings incredible lightness, they are a true anthem to relaxation and pleasure on the water, knowing that these engines are among the cleanest and quietest ever designed.

These 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder four-stroke engines with dual overhead camshafts and 16 valves are equipped with features designed to simplify your life on board. Compatibility with our separately sold digital displays, Y-COP anti-theft systems, assisted lifting and trimming with a wide range and optional tilt angle limiter, to name just a few.

Thanks to new independently controlled intake and exhaust valves via two camshafts, the efficiency of the intake and exhaust phases is greatly improved to ensure optimal combustion. The TCI ignition system makes starting easier, provides greater consistency in the operating cycle, increases spark plug longevity, and ensures exceptional reliability.

That’s why the Y-COP (Yamaha Customer Outboard Protection - Optional) system allows you, with the simple press of a button on a remote control, to immobilize your engine so that only you can start it.

Clear and precise information with the Yamaha digital display system

The F130 works perfectly with Yamaha digital displays, which provide the necessary information to optimize engine performance: the multifunction tachometer displays engine speed, engine hours, trim angle, oil pressure, warning indicators, and variable trolling speed control, while the speedometer/fuel gauge displays speed, fuel tank capacity, and fuel consumption.
