Even at low speed, the 17 amp alternator provides the battery charging power needed to keep your onboard electronics running. And there are no belts or bearings to maintain.

We balanced the engine block to make it smoother and designed soft rubber mounts that isolate vibrations and direct them outward. Whether you're fishing in a quiet cove or having a conversation, you'll enjoy every minute on the water.

Advanced Mercury tiller handle
The Mercury tiller handle adapts to you, not the other way around. You can reverse the handle for left- or right-hand steering and adjust the lateral angle of the tiller for better leverage and control.

Easy maintenance
Spend less time on maintenance and more time on the water with our no-drain oil change system, easy-to-change lower unit lubricant, and lifetime maintenance-free valve train.
