Powerful alternator
Even at low speed, the 17-amp alternator provides the charging power needed to keep onboard electronics running. And there are no belts or bearings to maintain.

Exceptionally smooth and quiet
We balanced the engine block to make it more flexible and designed soft rubber mounts that isolate vibrations and direct them outward. Whether you are fishing in a quiet cove or having a conversation, you will enjoy every minute on the water.

Advanced Mercury straight bar
The Mercury straight bar adapts to you, not the other way around. You can invert the handle for left or right steering and adjust the lateral angle of the bar for better leverage and control.

Easy to maintain
Spend less time on maintenance and more time on the water with our lossless oil change system, easy-to-change lower unit lubricant, and maintenance-free valve control for life.
