A powerful alternator - 60 amps on the 150 hp outboard and 35 amps on the 75 to 115 hp outboards - charges batteries and powers onboard electronics all day long.

Additional Charging Power
The battery charge management technology at idle on the 150 hp engine automatically increases idle speed to boost alternator output and recharge discharged batteries.

Command Thrust Gearcase
Available on 80, 100, and 115 hp outboards, the Command Thrust gearcase is designed for larger propellers. It allows heavy boats to plane more easily and maintain it at low speeds without affecting top speed.
