Powerful alternator
Even at low speeds, the 17 amp alternator supplies the battery charging power needed to keep onboard electronics running. And there are no belts or bearings to maintain.

Exceptionally smooth and quiet
We balanced the engine block to make it more flexible and designed soft rubber mounts that isolate vibrations and direct them outside. Whether you’re fishing in a quiet cove or having a conversation, you’ll enjoy every minute on the water.

Advanced Mercury trolling handle
The Mercury handle adapts to you, not the other way around. You can invert the handle for left or right steering and lateral adjustment of the handle angle for better leverage and control.

Easy Maintenance
Spend less time on maintenance and more on the water with our lossless oil change system, our easy-to-change shaft lubricant, and our maintenance-free valve control for life.
