Combining Lean Burn technology, semi-direct air intake, and a high-performance compression ratio of 10.2 to 1, this new outboard motor is powerful, clean, and efficient. Compared to its predecessor, the DF150A shows a 7% improvement in fuel consumption at the pump.
With increased torque (3.1% more), combined with the staggered two-stage reduction gear, this new engine delivers more power across the entire RPM range. Even on heavier or more loaded boats, the DF150A pushes performance further.
The DF150A now shares the same block as the renowned DF200A. Large displacement and precision mechanics provide better acceleration at low and mid-range speeds. We thus meet our customers' desires for high performance combined with fuel efficiency.
This new outboard benefits from proven Suzuki "Ultimate" 4-stroke technologies, ensuring ever-increasing reliability year after year. An knock sensor preserves the engine's flexibility to enhance its lifespan. An oxygen sensor improves engine efficiency, and Suzuki water detection system protects the engine from poor combustion, stalling, and corrosion.
The new direct ignition reduces the number of parts and wiring, which better generates the ignition spark and improves combustion efficiency.
The main difference with its "big brother" DF140B is that it achieves its power over a lower and wider RPM range.
