Lean Burn Control technology optimizes the air-fuel mixture by anticipating fuel needs based on operating conditions, thereby reducing consumption. On this engine, it can achieve up to 16% savings.

Our new DF175AP engine is equipped with a revolutionary "hands-free" start system: a keyless coded contactless key transmits an access code to the engine's start system. When the keyless key is within one meter of the main unit, simply turn on the system, insert the cut-off cord, and start the engine with a single button press. At the port, just turn off the engine and disable the system.

The DF175AP is the first 175HP (129kW) outboard motor on the market to feature Suzuki's electronic control system (Suzuki Precision Control) and the Suzuki Selective Rotation system, which allows configuring the motor for standard rotation or contra-rotation, thanks to a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (gearcase) and an innovative electronic gear change system.
