Lean Burn Control technology optimizes the air-fuel mixture by anticipating fuel needs based on usage conditions, thus reducing consumption. On this engine, it can achieve up to 16% savings.

Our new DF175AP engine features a revolutionary "keyless" start system: a coded contactless key transmits an access code to the engine's start system. When the contactless key is within one meter of the main unit, simply turn on the system, insert the kill cord, and start the engine with a push of a button. When returning to port, just turn off the engine and deactivate the system.

The DF175AP is the first 175HP outboard engine (129kW) on the market equipped with Suzuki Precision Control electronic throttle and Suzuki Selective Rotation system, which allows configuring the engine for standard or counter-rotation, thanks to a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (drive leg) and an innovative electronic gear change system.
